The Masi 2015 Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Riserva Costasera offers aromas of dried fruit and dusty terracotta that are unique to this warm and sunny vintage. This Riserva shows an extra dose of sweetness (with a 15.5% alcohol content) and thick concentration that gives this wine a lot of power and density that is especially evident on the palate. This blend of 70% Corvina, 25% Rondinella and 5% Molinara is almost chewy and syrupy in texture, but it does not come across as too heavy or thick. This Riserva is submitted to up to 40 months in oak, both Slavonian and Allier. Production is 60,000 bottles.
