Another ludicrously dark purple. Virgile always gets deep colours anyway! 80% whole bunch. The bouquet is more representative of pinot fruit than the Bourgogne, with some redder notes in the mix. Generous but with a mineral acidity which underpins. Fresh red berries are the predominant flavour with a little lick of liquorice to finish. The tannins are well integrated. 90-93/100
